Jonathan Bertman, MD, FAAFP – Founder and President
 

Dr. Jonathan Bertman founded Amazing Charts in 2001.  A practicing family physician, Jon wanted an affordable, easy-to-learn EHR to manage his entire medical practice.  He tried and researched dozens of programs that only frustrated and slowed down office flow.  Unable to find a product that came even close to his requirements, Jon designed and developed the first version of Amazing Charts from the ground up.

Today, Jon provides a physician’s perspective on every decision Amazing Charts makes.  He is chiefly focused on product development and delivering an unparalleled user experience for customers of Amazing Charts. 

Jon is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He earned his BA in Biochemistry from Vassar College and his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Kathleen Repoli has been contributing in the health care industry since 1985 with the goal of understanding and applying the various financial and reimbursement mandates to assist companies in reaching their business goals.

Kathleen is recognized for her leadership with teams, negotiating contracts, recouping lost revenue and putting systems in place that allow for optimal operations.  She has contributed in the hospital, health insurance and physician practice sectors of the healthcare industry.

For over four years Kathleen has been working with Dr. Bertman and Amazing Charts overseeing Operations, Finance and Human Resources.

Charlie Schachter has more than 20 years of technology marketing experience. At Amazing Charts, Charlie is responsible for all marketing activities, including public relations, advertising, direct marketing, online marketing, and social media.

Starting his career at a New York City PR agency specializing in technology, Charlie next ventured out to Silicon Valley, where he spent nearly a decade in various corporate positions and then finally started his own consulting business.

Charlie’s unique breadth and depth of experience is the product of his successful engagements with more than 200 clients, ranging from early-stage start-up companies to industry behemoths such as Intel and Microsoft.

Charlie earned a BA in English Literature from Vassar College.

Patricia Viveiros – Director of Client Services

Patricia Viveiros is responsible for the support functions of Amazing Charts and welcomes suggestions to enhance our client’s experience.

Patricia has been leading technical support teams for over seven years with the goal of ensuring that each client is attended to timely and accurately.   Her diagnostic and analytical skills provide for timely resolution of issues.   She supports her team in rising to be the best they can be to meet client expectations. 

Patricia stays current in the technical arena by keeping abreast of the latest technology.  In addition to understanding the product, she works closely with the Development Team to incorporate modifications to better serve our clients.

Paul LaBelle – Director of Development

Paul LaBelle has more than 25 years of experience developing commercial software in the healthcare and insurance industries.

Throughout his career as a software engineer, consultant, and architect, Paul has taken a keen interest in using the latest technology to provide innovative software.  Paul has used his expertise in software development to create enterprise level software on many platforms including IBM mainframes, Windows client server, and the internet.   Paul also adds experience to the development process with a focus on product quality and customer satisfaction.

His mission for the Amazing Charts development team is to create products that continue our tradition of simplicity and usability while providing solutions to the future requirements of the medical industry.

Paul has been with Amazing Charts since 2010 and previously held the role of Senior Software Architect.

Bob Berard – Director of Quality Assurance

Bob Berard has over 25 years of Quality Assurance experience in both defense and enterprise organizations delivering mission critical software. At Amazing Charts, Bob is tasked with execution of solid quality practices to reach quality objectives and drive customer satisfaction.

Early in his career, Bob worked as a Department of Defense employee focusing on verification of submarine combat systems. Most recently, Bob served as Quality Director at a large corporation leading all quality activities related to both hardware and software development for data centers. These positions demanded extremely high levels of software quality and mature test processes.

Bob has earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and has significant experience driving quality processes and leading quality teams.
