The pharmacy in my building brought a fax they had received from a company called erx hds. It looked official and was asking me for information related to eprescribing. When I googled them, they are a direct marketing firm that targets docs.

Damn. I got that same fax and was dumb enough to check off the box that said they had the right info (address, fax, and phone #) and send it back. luckily I didn't correct the email address they had "on file" which was listed as my name at ahsys.org.

I have worked hard to try to keep off or get off lists like this, MD Direct and others that were cluttering up the tons of e/mail I have to go through.
One day I got 10 pieces of mail through the postal service that were detailing me. The envelopes all looked like something that might be helpful.
We all have way too much to do without junk e/mail and faxes
