AVG is OK. But you'll need to put exceptions in for SQL and a few other programs.

Trend Micro is decent. But I've only used their business class software, not their home stuff.

The built-in antivirus of Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Windows Server 2016 works really well. Very nice Group Policy controls for it. Note: I have never used Windows 10 Home so I can't speak for that one.

We recommend Sophos for both endpoint and for network firewall appliance.

There are several we don't recommend.

I'll go along with Sophos for both as well. Can't believe I forgot that one. Thanks Indy.

If we're going to throw endpoint in there, I'd also like to give a shout-out to Juniper.
