Q: What is your role at Amazing Charts?
A: I am a Business Analyst working with the Product team
Q: Where is your hometown?
A: I am originally from Portsmouth, RI
Q: What’s your favorite food?
Q: Favorite vacation spot?
A: Japan, but I am a sucker for Disney
Q: Favorite quote/saying?
A: “Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely your own” – Bruce Lee
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
A: Tough question, there are many. I take a lot of inspiration from the teachings of Bruce Lee and appreciate the wholesome trinity of Bob Ross, Mister Rogers, and Steve Irwin. I would meet any one of them as I feel their outlooks on life are becoming more and more rare
Q: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
A: I have always wanted to be a better artist, so learning to draw and create imagery through various mediums would be one of my top choices
Q: What is your hidden talent?
A: I am a decent guitar player, but I tend to only play for myself
Q: What’s a typical day like? What are you currently working on?
A: My days normally consist of assessing enhancement requests from our customers and clients to find viable methods for introducing new features, reviewing current systems to see how we can improve the capability and workflow, and designing new screens or features to be implemented into the existing product
I am currently in the process of detailing screens for a new area of our Practice Management. We refer to this area as the Financial Summary, where users can access many of their patient billing options in a single location. This is part of a greater effort to modernize the look and feel of our flagship product and is largely what I am focused on
Q: Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
A: I can speak, read, and write Japanese
Q: Favorite movie?
A: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Q: Favorite sports team?
A: I am not big into sports, however, I grew up going to hockey games and watching the Bruins with my family, so that would be the closest to a favorite team
Q: What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
A: Too many. I enjoy building computers and fiddling with technology in general. I collect a great many things, such as retro games and toys from when I was younger. I practice Martial Arts. I cruise around on my longboard and surf with my brother when I can get to the beach, and play guitar and board games, just to name a few
Q: Coffee or tea?
A: Both, I am partial to a Cappuccino or Green Tea
Q: What is your favorite part about working for Amazing Charts?
A: Aside from working with great people, I get to do meaningful work that challenges how I think and continues to show me that I am capable of things I might not have otherwise discovered
