How Did Telehealth Impact
Patient Care in 2020?
According to Medical Economics 2020 Technology Survey, over 93 percent of physicians utilized a telehealth tool to treat patients in 2020. Because of shutdowns and operational impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 77 percent of providers used a telemedicine solution for the first time. Around three-quarters of respondents believe telehealth is worth the investment, as it allows them to continuously treat patients while reducing the spread of COVID-19.
