According to “an independent study commissioned by a pediatric virtual care company, 92 percent of pediatricians and clinicians believe that telemedicine will remain part of health practices in the future.” Among 787 survey respondents, 96 percent currently use a telehealth solution in their practice, citing ease of use for patients as their primary reason for offering the service. A majority of respondents also recognized “patient demand as the number-one factor driving the increased use of telemedicine.”
